The University encompasses all the basic and applied sciences, so it becomes more realistic in the approach to give a proper orientation and research aptitude in the varied advanced area of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

The outcome of these research activities is well recognized in the form of publications/ presentations at International and National platforms. The main research is focussed on the areas catering to the needs of both the Industry and Research Organizations of the country and abroad for utmost advantage to mankind.

Research at SBSU is a never ending process. The labs are well equipped with all the modern equipments necessary for carrying out research. The University is proud to collaborate with organizations to carry out their research and development assignments to cater the global needs. The faculty is engaged with a number of research projects funded by various Government agencies such as DST, Ayush, UCOST with external grant of more than 2 Crores. We also provide consultancy services and know-how for the product / process development to Pharma R&D sectors.
